To Respond to Alarms in a Safe, Secure and Professional Manner. To Protect the Lives and Property within the Village. To Educate the Community on Fire Safety.

Village of Nissequogue Fire Department

The Nissequogue Fire Department is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who provides Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to the residents, businesses and visitors in the Village of Nissequogue, since 1973.

We proudly provide quick responses for all types of emergencies, from fires and medical emergencies, to motor vehicle accidents and downed trees blocking the roads.

Our dedicated group of volunteer Firefighters and and EMTs spend continuously train and develop their skills, to efficiently and effectively handle the variety of alarms that occur in our community. We take great pride in serving you.

Fire protection and emergency medical services are provided to the Village through the Nissequogue Fire Department and its Ambulance Company. The Fire Department is staffed entirely by dedicated, trained volunteers from the community. Services provided by the Department include fire protection, emergency medical services (EMS), search and rescue and vehicle extraction. The Village of Nissequogue provides the Department with a fleet of vehicles including two fire engines, a Utility Task Vehicle (UTV) and an ambulance.

The Fire Department always welcomes new members. Any interested persons are encouraged to attend the Department’s monthly meetings, held at the firehouse on the first Tuesday of every month at 7 P.M., or fill out the Membership Inquiry form here.
